Superintendent - Logan Swann
This is my 3rd year at BLHS, and it has been an incredible journey so far. I was previously the 6-12 principal at BLHS. Prior to that, I was the dean of students, a special education teacher, and a baseball coach at Redwood Valley. One of my proudest accomplishments at BLHS has been implementing positive behavior-based approaches in our district, which include monthly challenges that we can celebrate together, as well as developing an academic support system that supports all students. I firmly believe that "the grass is greener where you water it," and that philosophy drives my commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for our students. As Superintendent, my goals are to build a culture of continuous improvement, develop procedures for fiscal transparency and responsibility, focus on our facility needs, and develop a strategic plan that creates a clear path of success for BLHS. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my wife, our two dogs, and friends. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at BLHS; the students, staff, and families have been so supportive and a true joy to work with. I look forward to making BLHS the best place for students to attend school—a safe, supportive environment with a strong focus on student growth.

K-12 Principal - Jesse Westbrock
Hello BLHS Community and Families,
I am excited to step into the role of K-12 Principal at BLHS. This will be my 14th year in education where I have served as a 7-12 math teacher, coach, student council advisor, and most recently, a technology director. I have had the opportunity to learn so much from each of those experiences and I look forward to putting them to use to make sure we provide the best education possible for our students!
My wife is an elementary teacher at MACCRAY and we have three elementary aged children who keep us busy.

Dean of Students & Activities Director - Katie Ovitt
Dear BLHS Families,
I am very excited to be the Dean of Students and Activities Director at BLHS. I have a background in Special Education specializing in Autism and Behaviors. I also have an Elementary Education Degree and have been teaching for 20 years. This is my 11th year at BLHS and I am proud to be a Mustang. I graduated from BLH in 2000 and love being part of the community and school district I grew up in.
I am also the Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach, assist with the BLHS Golf Program, and enjoy my time with our student Athletes.
I have 2 children in the district and am proud to say my children get the best education from our staff at BLHS.
