May 2017 -  Mrs. Grams

Mrs. Grams has been working hard throughout the past month, let alone the entire year. Back in October she had to help organize Region V's National Convention trip. Throughout the month of May she has had the task of preparing and organizing our chapter banquet, and getting everything together for the FFA's trip to State Convention. Not only has she had the task of organizing all of these events, she has been working very hard within the classroom. She has implemented new ideas and has gone for a more hands on approach in all of her classes. Last of all she has offered her support to help any of her students, FFA Members, etc. whether it be for a project or just to talk to. BLHS is lucky to have her, and we thank her for all she has done.

April 2017 - Barb Rouse

April's Staff Member of the Month is Barb Rouse. Whenever you stop in the office Barb always greets you with a smile on her face and instantly makes you enjoy school a little bit more. She is ready to make copies for you or give you a little snack when you're hungry. Thank you Barb for putting up with all of us children even when we ask for crazy things.

March 2017 - Mike Clouse

Congrats to the March Staff Member of the Month, Mike! Mike makes sure that the school is always up to date on its needs. He also goes out of his way to help the students and makes sure they are doing okay. He is willing to volunteer his time to come in a fix whatever is needed. He has truly been an asset to our school along with the rest of the custodian staff members.

February 2017 - Mrs. Hopp

Congratulations to the February staff remember of the month, Mrs. Hopp. She has devoted many hours of her time to make the senior class trip a success. Without her hard work, the senior class trip would not be possible. Mrs. Hopp also puts dedication into making her class a fun learning environment. Thank you Mrs. Hopp, for all your hard work and congratulations!

January 2017 - Mr. Johnson

Mr. Johnson was chosen for his sacrifices that he has made for us this robotics Season. He gave up his Saturday to drive us down to the cities for the kick off event. He has been a huge help with designing the robot and helping us make the parts, we otherwise wouldn't know how to build. He knows just how to keep us on task and things working smoothly. He is irreplaceable.

December 2016 - Mrs. Bernston

The staff member of the month for December is Mrs. Berntson. She puts in a ton of extra time to make sure the band and choir sound really good by working with students before and after school. She is also very approachable and easy to talk to about anything. Congratulations!

November 2016 - Ms. Keltgen

Congratulations to the November Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Keltgen. She devotes an abundance of her time to the students and other staff members by doing more than what is listed in her job description. Ms. Keltgen not only helps students understand key concepts, but she also teaches lessons that pertain to life after high school. She is inspiring and encouraging daily, with her kind greetings and infectious smile.

October 2016 - Mr. Depiesse

Congratulations to October's staff member of the month, Mr. Depiesse. He always goes above and beyond for each and everyone of his student. If that is showing up at 6:30 in the morning for lifting and Java Jumpstart or staying a little longer after practice to work with the athletes. He also constantly brings a positive attitude to class and makes being in the classroom fun for everyone. Congratulations and thank you, Mr. Depiesse!

September 2016 - Mrs. Melberg

Congratulations to the September Staff Member of the Month, Michelle Melberg. All the effort she has put into preparing for homecoming is greatly appreciated. She has also made sure that everyone was ready to come back to school. Congratulations again to Michelle, and thank you for all that you do!
