May 2018 - Mrs. Winkelmann

Heather Winkleman has worked very hard to make sure that prom this year was amazing. She always has a smile and is eager to help anyone she comes across. She isn’t shy about helping you for your future either, she has helped many kids gain a new enthusiasm to learn. She not only helps in the classroom, but is always encouraging students to work their hardest and that that they can succeed in anything they do. Heather puts extra time into making her room a comfortable space for students to learn in and is good at keeping students on task.

April 2018 - Mrs. Hopp

Congratulations to the April Staff Member of the Month, Mrs. Hopp. Mrs. Hopp is always willing to help students when they need it. She also put in a lot of extra time organizing the senior class trip and making sure that everyone stayed on schedule. While keeping everyone together and on task, it’s obvious that she truly wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed the trip. All of the extra time and work that she put into planning and preparing the trip is greatly appreciated. Congratulations and thank you for all you do, Mrs. Hopp!

March 2018 - Mrs. Berntson

Congratulations to the March Staff Member of the Month, KerryAnn Berntson! Mrs. Berntson goes out of her way daily to accommodate each one of her students to make sure they’re all happy and understand the material. With all of her hard work towards music contest, concerts, pep band, and other outside performances, we couldn’t thank her enough for juggling all those responsibilities while also putting in extra time to help any student. Not only is she a great role-model for students, but also a kind-hearted person that cares deeply about each one of her students and always provides a fun and effective learning environment. You’re extra time and effort has not gone unnoticed, thank you for all you do and again congratulations!


February 2018 - Mrs. Grams

Congratulations to the February Staff Member of the Month, Jill Grams. Mrs. Grams has put an unbelievable amount of time into her students throughout the year. Not only is she totally committed to the class room, but also to FFA. Mrs. Grams helped make FFA week a blast for the high school students and teachers. Mrs. Grams has been a huge help in the classroom and in the shop. Your support does not go unnoticed thank you for all you do!



January 2018 - Barb Rouse

Congratulations to the January Staff Member of the Month, Barb Rouse. Barb has a great personality and can make every school day fun. She always greets students with a warm smile and brightens up the office. Barb is still working hard after recently having knee surgery. She is always willing to go the extra mile to help students, even if she has other work to do. School would not be the same without having Barb around and we are incredibly thankful for all she has done for us. Thank you Barb for everything you do!


December 2017 - Mr. Naujokas

Mr. N is a great teacher because he makes class fun and interesting.  He has been working very hard planning the trip to Europe and encouraging the younger students to be involved.  Mr. N also has been great about opening up the weight room for the students.   Thank you for everything Mr. N.


November 2017- Mrs. Hughes

Congratulations to the November Staff Member of the Month, Mrs. Hughes. Mrs. Hughes has the flexibility and understanding to meet all students learning needs. She is always in a good mood and concerned about the wellbeing of her students. She always tries her hardest to make her classroom a fun learning environment that balances work and fun. Mrs. Hughes is always willing to put in extra effort to help her students after classroom hours. Your love for teaching does not go unnoticed, thank you for all you do!


October 2017 - Mrs. Dornseif

Congratulations to the October Staff Member of the Month, Lael Dornseif. Mrs. Dornseif strives to make BLHS the best it can be. She is always helping students to be the best they can be. Even though she is a new teacher this year she has been able to juggle all her classes along with volleyball. She is a great volleyball coach and is able to help all her players play to their best ability. She put in so much effort into our volleyball season this year and makes class a great learning place for students to feel safe in. Congratulations again to Lael, and thank you for all that you do!


September 2017 - Mrs. Melberg

Congratulations to the September Staff Member of the Month, Michelle Melberg. Mrs. Melberg strives to make BLHS the best it can be. She is always working with students to make sure they are getting the best out of school. She also puts in many extra hours of work towards homecoming trying to make it the best possible it can be. All the effort she has put into preparing for homecoming and making school a fun place to be is greatly appreciated. Congratulations again to Michelle, and thank you for all that you do!
